Translations Not Loading

Problem:


The Translations page shows a warning or fails to load.


Situation

Message

Solution

No languages configured

"No additional languages are configured for this store. Go to Settings -> Languages to add a language first."

Go to Shopify Admin → Settings → Languages and add at least one additional language

No content to translate

"No translatable content found. Create product groups first to see translatable fields."

Create at least one product group and make sure it contains products with option values

Load failure

"Failed to load translations" or "Failed to load languages"

Refresh the page. If the issue continues, contact support


Translations become available only after both of these conditions are met:


  1. The store has multiple languages configured.
  2. At least one product group exists with translatable content.
