# Custom Image or Category Button is Disabled

**Problem:**

The "Set custom image" or "Set category" button is grayed out and cannot be clicked.

**Solution:**

These options become available only after the product group has been saved at least once.

1. Click **Save** to create the product group.
2. After saving, reopen the group in edit mode.
3. The **Set custom image** and **Set category** buttons will now be active.

Both features are managed through Shopify’s native **metaobject editor**, where you can upload custom swatch images and assign categories.
