Bulk Group Creation

Bulk group creation lets you create multiple product groups at once instead of adding them one by one.

Go to Product groups → Bulk create groups.

Choose a detection method

Title pattern

Groups products based on common title structure.

Works with separators like -, |, / or shared words.

Example:

Summer Shorts - Yellow

Summer Shorts - Blue

Group: Summer Shorts

Options: Yellow, Blue

Product tags

Uses structured tags:

RUBIK::GroupName::OptionName::OptionValue::PrimaryColor::SecondaryColor

Products with the same GroupName are grouped together.

Metafields

Groups products that share the same metafield value.

You define:

• Group metafield key
• Option value metafield key
• Optional color metafields

Review

After scanning, review detected groups.

You can rename groups, edit option values, remove products, or add products manually.

Products without a featured image are skipped.

Create

Click Create groups to start.

The job runs in the background and only one bulk job can run at a time.

Created groups can be edited later like any regular group.
