App Blocks (Optional)

App blocks offer an alternative way to control where swatches appear in your theme. They are especially useful for product card swatches, as they can improve performance and provide more precise placement.

Inside the Manage app blocks modal, you will see an informational banner explaining that app blocks can be used to reposition widgets and optimize rendering. If your theme supports app blocks, using them is recommended.

In Easy mode, you can quickly adjust placement without dealing with templates manually. On the product page, you can move swatches above or below elements such as the title, price, or buy buttons. On collection pages, you can add the product card app block to improve how swatches load and display inside grids.

In Advanced mode, you can select a specific theme and manage blocks per template type, including Product, Collection, Home, Search, Cart, Article, and Page. Each template shows whether the product page block or product card block is active, and you can add or manage blocks individually for full control.
